Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime and Moto G 2nd Gen (2nd Generation) both are newly launched Smartphones in Indian markets and both belongs to mid range segment above 10K & below 20K.
However, there is a difference in the price but the comparison between these two devices is important as there are a large number of buyers who want a smartphone around 15K (15,000 price bracket).
Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime is available at Rs. 15,999/- and Moto G 2 (2nd Gen) is priced at Rs. 12,999/-. Both the phones have decent design as well as good built quality. Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime comes with a 5 inch qHD (540 x 960) resolution multi touch display where as Moto G 2 (Gen 2) has a similar size 5 inch display but it has higher 720 x 1280 pixel resolution with IPS panel.

In terms of camera it looks like Samsung is leading on this edge. Samsung Prime has an 8 megapixel rear auto focus CMOS camera which can record FHD 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution videos at 30fps and on the front it has a bigger 5 megapixel CMOS sensor as compared to Moto G 2nd Generation. As we know Moto G 1st Generation was not known for its camera quality but this time Motorola has tried to give some better tweaks to the camera as of now there is an 8 megapixel rear primary auto focus camera which can record HD videos and on the front there is a 2 megapixel camera. In camera department Samsung looks like the winner but Moto G 2 has a cool camera feature of recording Slow motion videos which is not confirmed on Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime right now.
Samsung Prime comes with 8 GB of internal memory and supports microSD card up to (64 GB) and Moto G 2 comes with similar 16 GB of storage and supports microSD card up to (32 GB).
Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime has a larger 2600 mAh battery on the other hand Moto G 2 (2nd Generation) only has a 2070 mAh battery.
Both the devices carries amazing looks and design language, Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime is priced at Rs. 15,999 where as Moto G 2 is price at Rs. 12,999/-. The display, processor, ram are similar on both the devices but in terms of camera and battery Samsung leads, so you have to decide whether the camera and bigger battery important to you or if not Moto G 2 (2nd Generation) can save your 3K, if you don’t want to plug you device frequently then it might be Prime.
